Hayden Bible Map image

Two Bible-believing churches in Hayden, Idaho with names beginning "Hayden Bible." The short version of the story is Hayden Bible Fellowship was originally Hayden First Baptist. After Hayden Bible Church disbanded, First Baptist decided to change their name to Hayden Bible Fellowship. Soon, thereafter, Hayden Bible Church re-opened its doors and there has been a small confusion about the names ever since.

The churches are approximately 1.5 miles apart and just off Highway 95. Hayden Bible Fellowship is on the west side of the highway on the southeast corner of Reed and Orchard. Hayden Bible Church is on the east side of the highway on the south side of Miles Avenue.

Both churches are small, non-denominational Christian fellowships. The ministers preach the word without excuse. Dan Radke and Wayne Foil are recent graduates of The Master's Seminary and served under John McArthur at Grace Community Church. Steve Massey preaches two services every Sunday morning and writes a religion column for the Spokesman Review. Before Steve began writing for the paper, the religion column consisted of warm fuzzies, psychology and assurances you need not worry about the future if you are a good person. It is refreshing to have someone like Steve write columns that unashamedly preach man's fallen condition, his need of a Savior and God's judgment to come, along with other texts of Scripture.

If you are looking for a church to worship and fellowship with, you will do well to try both churches and ask the Lord to direct you to the one He wants you to get involved with.
